Dear DK,

Thank you for your interest in my clinic.

For double fold surgery, the patients should choose the height, the shape of double fold and the method of surgery.
According to the height of double fold, small or medium or high double fold is created.
According to the shape of double fold, infold tapered or oufold parallel double fold is created.

The most medial end of crease meet the medial corner of eye in infold type double fold.
The most medial end of crease doesn't meet the medial corner of eye in outfold type double fold.
Most Asians have infold type double fold, but most Caucasians have outfold type double fold.

Outfold double fold can be recommended to the patients who don't have Mongolian fold or are planning medial epicanthoplasty, have round eyes, want medium to high double fold.
